Situated in the heart of the Suzhou Industrial Park this 178,000-sq. meter mixed-use project includes a 300-meter tall Class A Office and Service Apartment tower with a 5-story retail podium. The project’s main challenge was to combine two adjacent site parcels, one of which has been designated park land, into a unified scheme that incorporates a viable multi-use building and the public amenities intended for the original park site.

Our solution was to organize the project around a vast light-filled atrium which provides year round climate control for a series of multi-level interior “parks” scattered through the retail base. The project is a central artery for many adjacent sites via pedestrian overpasses and underground connections to the MTA, all of which pass through and intermingle in the project’s grand central atrium. A tree-lined outdoor entrance plaza serves as a truly public entrance and lively gathering spot for outdoor cafes and restaurants. This integrated use of both interior and exterior parks makes the site a magnet for all-season public activity, day or night.

In all, the project contains 64,800 sq. meters of premium office space offering sweeping views of the  nearby Jin Ji Lake, a 45,000-sq. meter retail podium spread over 6 levels and 51,000 sq. meters of residential apartments situated at the top of the tower. Amenities for the residences include a spa, outdoor sky terraces and observation decks. Parking for 1,300 cars is provided below grade.
