Located in midtown Manhattan, The Centurion will be a 17-story residential building containing 48 units ranging in size from 800 to 2,400 square feet plus three penthouse duplexes of approximately 3,000 square feet. The proposed design solution takes its cues
from the restrained elegance of the neighborhood while seeking to evoke and update a century-old tradition of luxury residential properties marked by handsome silhouettes, rich materials and gracious appointments.
The principle south-facing elevation will have a stepped profile featuring large floor-to-ceiling windows and a succession of balconies offering spectacular views. The building’s exterior will be fully clad in hand-set French “Chamesson” limestone. The grand presence of the building’s form and materials extends to its entrance canopy of stainless steel and translucent glass. A water garden visible from the lobby through large panes of floor-to-ceiling glass contributes a unique and welcome addition to the lobby experience. The building elevates the standards of luxury housing with 9’6” ceilings, state-of-the-art wi-fi, health and fitness facility, tenant storage and a 108-car parking garage.
