The Northridge Earthquake in 1994 caused extensive structural damage to the UCLA Center for Health Sciences, leaving portions in need of replacement. The University seized the opportunity to create the Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center, a medical facility designed to meet the evolving needs of 21st-century patient care, new medical technologies and teaching. hosted a dedication ceremony on
June 4, 2007.
Heritage museum for this 16th century UNESCO World Heritage site garden city located in Jiangsu Province. The project consists of approximately 8,150 sq. meters of exhibition and related public facilities including lobbies, gift shop, restaurant, and multi-function hall, administrative offices, storage and conservation department.
The Suzhou Museum opened to the public on October 6, 2006.
The 6,750-square-meter Guanajuato State Library is the first building of the Forum Cultural Guanajuato masterplanned by Pei Partnership Architects in 2003. The library consists primarily of two volumes interconnected by means of a 2-level glass gallery.
It will house 170,000 books and can host 2,400 visitors per day.
The Guanajuato State Library hosted a dedication ceremony on September 7, 2006.
A 15,000-sq.-meter facility on reclaimed land in Macao's harbor. The center is the first project sponsored by the Macao Foundation whose mission is the diversification and enrichment of the city's cultural and scientific life. The Center will be the venue of scientific exhibitions and interactive displays, an observatory, and lecture hall.
The Macao Science Center held a groundbreaking ceremony on October 19, 2006.
